Salman's fitness funda

-->

Most of the popular Bollywood Actors like Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, Arjun Rampal and Aamir Khan take good care of their bodies. And probably that is the reason why they look much younger to than their age.

Salman Khan’s Fitness Trainer:

This is what Style and Fitness Guru - Salman Khan has to say.........
“I cycle, swim, go to the gym, eat the right kind of food and sleep late as I don’t get sleep easily and wake up early, that’s the secret behind my age.”
Salman's physic trainer, Manish Advilkar  , has this to tell all his fans across the world.
Manish Advilkar  also trained Salman over six tedious years. When he first call me , I concentrated on fine-tuning is exercise routine, making it more structured and streamlined,"says Advilkar.
Today,  of course his body speaks for his dedication. No matter how punishing his shooting schedule, Salman will find time to exercise...
He even calls me up at 3-4 am for a training session.
“He does unbelievable stuff like 1,000 push-ups a day or 2,000 sit-ups a day” says Manish Advilkar,  Discipline and dedication have been the two pillars of Salman’s fitness success.

“His body structure is not like a body builder's but good muscles, perfectly in shape and no fat” says personal trainer D’Souza.

Work keeps Salman busy most of the times. Thus, at times he starts his workout as late as 2 am. Salman works out for at least two hours continuously. His workout includes one hour of cardio, concentrating on any two body parts each time- triceps, legs, back and biceps

He is very particular and serious about his workout and once in the gym, nothing affects his concentration. While in the gym, if someone approaches him for an autograph or a photograph, he asks them to wait until he is finished with his training. He has got perfect abs and works a lot to keep them in shape. “He does five hundred crunches, pull-ups and chin-ups” adds D’Souza.
PUNISHING ROUTINE:
Exercise releases endorphins ,those feel good hormones in the brain, and  riding the wave , trainer and pupil sculpt the body that earned bollywood star the moniker, "Shirtless Wonder".
While weights have gained for Salman the contours the camera captures so vividly, his cardiovascular routine is punishing too. When the mood overtakes Salman , he goes cycling three hours to panvel,"explains Advilkar."personally, I would find that a real challenge too."

Bollywood Movies Reviews and stories

Movie Name: Tanu Weds Manu

Movie Review: The first thing that strikes you about Tanu Weds Manu is a striking sense of familiarity. It wasn't long before you saw Shahid Kapoor playing a similar sacrificial lover to Kareena Kapoor in Jab We Met. And like poor Kareena, who tries too sort out her confused emotions against the backdrop of the big fat Punjabi wedding, Tanu too must decide who is better husband material, first amidst the hustle bustle of her best friend's boisterous going- baraat and then at her chaotic Kanpuria community Mahal.

Movie Story : Mannu Sharma (R Madhavan), a London-based doctor has come to India to look for a bride as per his parents’ wishes. Their first stop is Kanpur where they go to see Tannuja Trivedi (Kangna Ranaut), an extrovert, bend the rules, be-a-rebel girl. Tannu is the exact opposite of Mannu, changes boyfriends frequently, always wants to run away and get married, smokes and drinks frequently and uses foul language. Still Mannu goes ahead and says “Yes” to the proposal, smitten by the beauty of Tannu.
Off go both the families to Vaishno Devi to seek blessings for the marriage. On the way, Tannu threatens Mannu of dire consequences if he does not say “No” to the marriage. On the return journey Mannu conveys that to the elders and all hell breaks loose! Mannu and family go for more window shopping for brides. In between, they also go to Kapurthala to attend Jassi’s (Ejaaz Khan) marriage. There, Mannu again comes across Tannu who arrives as the friend of the bride (Swara Bhaskar). Eyes cross and there are frequent instances of the boy meets girl kind of romance, only here, it is only love from one end.
The Audience will find a lot of similarity here with Jab We Met in terms of the introvert lead hero and the extrovert heroine. In terms of script and supporting cast, this movie actually appears to be better than JWM, the only comparison where it falls flat is the comparison with the lead actors.
In terms of performances, the lead pair of Madhavan and Kangana are just average but Deepak Dobriyal as Mannu Sharma’s sidekick “Puppy” steals the show. He has put life in all the scenes he is in. Watch out for the scene where he and Mannu are going for the Vaishno Devi yatra and he interspaces the Jai Maata Di slogans with his expressions or the scene where he refuses to pay for the toilet use! His dances are funny and even where he confesses to Mannu that he left his setting to come back with Mannu. This movie has to be watched for Deepak only!
Jimmy Shergill is also good as the Raja Bhaiyya, the way he carries himself in all the scenes, the dialogue delivery, the pathani suit, all suit his character. This is one negative character, the audience will love. KK Raina and Rajendra Gupta are good in their roles. Watch out for the scene where KK Raina confesses to Mannu that he always wanted to do something different in life and is proud of his son. Another character worth mentioning is that of Payal played by Swara Bhasker who is very good in all her confrontational scenes with Kangana. Ravi Kishen is wasted.
Music by Krsna is another highlight, the opening song “Mannu Bhaiya” looks good on screen having been shot inside the train in the sleeper class. Overall, if you are fan of Lucknawi and Kanpuri style language, and are used to those cycle rickshaws and narrow lanes of smaller cities, then you will love Tanu Weds Manu
